This LSD is specially made for BMW E36 inline 4 or 6-cylinder engine model. The actuation timing is 1.5way and it provides 60% locking differentials. Gear type internal structure design can active the locking differentials by the output of the torque. Comparing to M-Power¡¦s LSD, Ruff¡¦s LSD wont have the problem of heat recession and it doesn¡¦t need specific type of lubricate oil. Ruff¡¦s LSD uses typical gears lubricate oil and the friction plate doesn¡¦t have change as often to retain the locking. It works with both auto and manual models.
